Exhibits

Members of the Historical Commission’s exhibit committee have been working hard to prepare the Museum for Veterans Day. For our Veterans exhibit this year we focused on WWI. Hours and hours were spent looking through old Franklin Sentinal newspapers to collect wartime stories from the first World War. 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the start of the war. The U.S. entered the war in 1917 and many Franklin men answered the call to arms. Visit the museum to learn of the brave young men from our town who fought to keep us all free.

In addition to our featured WWI exhibit, we have a permanent display of Franklin sons’s who served our country throughout the years. Above you can see the 4 Clark brothers who all enlisted to serve.

I would like to see the exhibit where the four Clark sons have their picture. (4 sons). I am the daughter of Ed Clark and live in Florida. It would mean so much to see this exhibit.

    • Deborah, has anyone contacted you regarding this exhibit? I am going up to the museum this week. I will gladly take a photo for you but will need more info where to send it… I will get back to you.

      • I will be posting this today or tomorrow in the exhibits section. I am just getting a small blurb together about the brothers!
